Shire horse Alfie joined our ranks back in 2021 as a trial horse and was purchased in late 2021.
PH Alfie underwent just over 12 months of formal training with the QMPU being taken out on low
level Police patrols before being utilised in ceremonial events (which he is not overly fond of).
PH Alfie weighs just over 750kg and is a gentle giant, although he knows how to carry his weight and use it when he needs to.
PH Alfie excels at community engagement, loving cuddles with members of the community.
PH Alfie has one blue eye and one black eye which is somewhat unique.
PH Alfie has big dinner plate sized feet and long feathers which require washing regularly which make him
stand out amongst other horses.
He is kind, loves people, loves attention.
